Number Shooter
Shoot the numbers, clear the board.
Number Shooter: Ball Blast is an endless arcade shooter. Your cannon fires on its own - your job is to slide it left and right under the bouncing balls. Every ball shows a number, which is how many hits it can still take. Bring it down to zero and it splits into two smaller balls, until the smallest ones pop for good.
Game overview
What is Number Shooter?
Waves keep rolling in without a break and get tougher the longer you last. Broken balls drop power-ups that raise your fire rate and damage, plus items like multi-shot, shield, slow and magnet. Pick them up, keep the screen clear and see how far your best score can go.
At a glance
- Drag left and right to move the cannon - it fires automatically.
- Each hit lowers the number on a ball. At zero, the ball splits into two smaller ones.
- Collect the items that fall to the floor to boost fire rate and damage.
- If a ball reaches your cannon the run is over - a shield saves you once.
How a run works
Every run starts quietly. Two balls slide in from the side walls, drop, and start bouncing around the screen. Your cannon sits on the floor and fires straight up on its own, so the only thing you decide is where it stands. The number printed on a ball is its health: each bullet that hits takes some of it away, and when it reaches zero the ball splits into two smaller balls. Balls come in four sizes. The smallest ones do not split again, they simply pop.
The run ends the moment any ball touches the cannon. There are no stages and no break screens between waves. Waves 1 and 2 bring two balls each, waves 3 to 8 bring three, and from wave 9 every wave brings five. A new wave starts about seven seconds after the last ball of the previous one has come in, and if more than ten balls are already on the screen the next wave politely waits until you thin them out.
Your score goes up by exactly the amount of health you knock off. Damage beyond what a ball has left does not count, so a huge hit on a nearly finished ball is worth less than steady fire on a fresh one.

Controls
On a phone or tablet, put your finger on the screen and drag left or right. The cannon follows your finger and keeps firing.
Lift your finger to pause. The game only moves while you are touching the screen, and "TOUCH TO START" appears while it is paused.
On a computer, click anywhere to start, then move the mouse to steer without holding the button. Click again to pause. The left and right arrow keys also move the cannon.
The arrow button at the top left takes you back to the main screen.
Power-ups and items
Broken balls drop little pickups that bounce once or twice and then rest on the floor for eight seconds. Drive the cannon over them to collect them. Green lightning pickups raise your fire rate and red flame pickups raise your damage. Both start at 100 percent each run. Fire rate tops out at 800 percent, while damage has no ceiling. Coins drop too, and those you keep after the run.
The largest balls, the ones that enter from the walls, always drop one special item when they break:
two streams of bullets for ten seconds.
blocks one hit. It does not stack, so a second shield picked up while you still have one is wasted.
balls move at 40 percent speed for six seconds. Your cannon and bullets keep their normal speed.
for fifteen seconds, pickups that have landed on the floor slide toward you. It does not pull things out of the air.

Waves, upgrades and collections
Ball health scales with how strong you have become during the run, so the screen never turns into a shooting gallery. By wave 8 you will be facing balls with numbers in the hundreds. Everything you gained inside a run, the fire rate and damage percentages and any active items, is reset when the run ends. What stays is your coins.
Coins pay for three permanent upgrades with ten levels each: fire rate, attack power and item duration. They also buy items you can carry into the next run, such as a booster that adds 200 percent damage for that run or a spare shield, and they unlock looks. There are 15 ball themes, from crystal planets to candy and fruit, and 10 cannons. The first theme and the classic cannon are free, and the rest cost 500 coins each. Themes change how the run looks, not how hard it is.

Tips for your first runs
Big balls are worth the most points and they drop the special items. Small fragments are easy to clear later, but a big ball that keeps bouncing will eventually come down on you.
Early in a run, extra fire rate helps more than extra damage because every bullet also chips away at the small fragments. Once fire rate is high, the flames start to pay off.
Lifting your finger (or clicking on a computer) freezes everything. If the screen suddenly fills up, stop, look at where the balls are heading, and start again from a safer spot.
A shield cannot be doubled. If you already have one, let the next shield item fall and go for a pickup that helps instead.
After your first finished run the game hands you a small starter gift. That is enough for one level of fire rate or attack power, and permanent upgrades help in every run after that.

Yes. The browser version on this page has no ads and no purchases. The App Store and Google Play versions are free to download, show ads, and offer optional coin packs and an ad removal purchase.
Is my progress saved?
Coins, upgrades and unlocked themes are saved on your device and also synced to our server. In the browser, your account belongs to that browser, so clearing site data or switching browsers starts you fresh.
Can I play offline?
The mobile apps keep working without a connection and sync again later. The permanent upgrade menu needs a connection because upgrades are confirmed by the server.
Is there a level select or a story?
No. Number Shooter is a single endless mode. Each run is a fresh attempt at your best score, and the challenge comes from waves that keep getting tougher.
